Are you looking for a quick trip to the water before anyone notices you’re back? Maybe you want to get the rest of your family as passionate about angling as you? Either way, a trip with Fired Up Charters is the way to go!
Join Captain John Brantley on board his 42’ Carolina Custom. She’s an offshore sportfishing boat and can easily fit 6 anglers and the captain on her large back deck or inside the spacious cabin. There’s a full-head toilet on board, so you won’t have to hold it in, just focus on the perfect cast.
You’ll go after King and Spanish Mackerel in the coastal waters of North Carolina. These predators can be caught while trolling – the onboard outriggers come in handy here, as they allow for more lines in the water. Spinning for Mackerel on light tackle is great fun for kids and adults alike.
Kids of all ages are more than welcome on board, the Capt. John will supply life jackets in all sizes. Half day trips are great fun for kids who have yet to get their sea legs – the Mackerel bite is better under the morning sun. The crew will gladly show you the basics of fishing North Carolinian waters, or if you’re experienced already, give you the top tips for mastering your cast.
All you need to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen, and a cooler to take your catch home. The charter will provide you with high-quality equipment made by Shimano and Penn.
Book a trip with Fired Up Charters as the first step on an exciting fishing adventure!
