Visitors who want to explore the cool and calm waters of the Intracoastal Waterway can embark on their own self-guided adventure via Carolina Beach Pontoon Rental. Located close to the Cape Fear River / Intracoastal Waterway just off of US Highway 421, and easy to reach for visitors staying in the Carolina Beach State Park, this boat rental company allows patrons to enjoy the coastal region the way it should be explored – on the water.
The 24’ ft. long pontoon vessels available to rent are new, easy to use (even for beginners), and dependable, and they come equipped with a number of amenities to ensure passengers’ comfort. Boaters can relax in style, thanks to cushioned seating for 12 passengers, an on-vessel changing room, a boarding ladder for taking a dip, a retractable bikini top for extra shade, and a stereo that’s USB, iPod, and MP3 compatible. The friendly staff will provide plenty of initial advice for navigating on the water, and from there, it’s smooth sailing for would-be captains and their crews. With decent rates for half-day or full-day excursions, as well as multi-day rentals, visitors can enjoy an unparalleled tour of the Cape Fear region and discover all the nooks and crannies of the wide and scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
