12 Min Walk to Riverfront, Beautiful New Home - Vacation rental home in Wilmington, NC

This is a freshly refreshed home with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms plus a studio apartment mother-in-law suite with it's own kitchen.

The space
3 bedrooms plus 1 bath home, plus a studio suite with bedroom, bath and a 2nd kitchen attached. So total the home has 5 beds in 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2 kitchens, as well as a living room/dining area, full front porch and covered back porch.

It also has a HUGE yard for downtown.

Guest access
I want guests to be able to check-in as early as possible. Due to the huge amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short amount of time do it, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer, but will sometimes have to take out a load in order to do so. If you specifically don't want to have to do this, please let me know prior to check-in and I'll tell my cleaner to leave them empty for you.

HVAC Disclaimer:

There is AC (central and a minisplit unit for the back studio), however on extremely hot days, the system isn't powerful enough always to lower the temperature below 80 degrees in the middle of the day. It's an older home with not the best installation, so unfortunately even with the added help from the minisplit unit, it's hard to compete with the warm air coming in from the crawlspace below the home. They system sometimes can't cool much below 80 degrees on the hottest days of Summer at the hottest time of day. If you need the home to always be cooler, this may not be a good fit. I don't list it as an luxury to try to set expectations for guests, that while there is AC, it may not always be possible to bring the temperature down beyond a certain point on extremely hot days.

Please understand that the number of guests you booked for is the number allowed to be in the unit. One or two fast visitors is fine with me, I’m reasonable. But if you would like to have anymore than this number be in the unit at any point or stay the nighttime, you would need to ask me first. Having additional unauthorized guests voids the rental agreement.

Nightly rate is based on guest count, so if you need to increase your number after booking, the rate may increase and this price difference must be paid.

Family Animals are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any family pets in your welcome Vacation Rental By Owner message. *Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT supplied in the booking price that Vacation Rental By Owner collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation.* I ask you to NOT let pets on any furnishings or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard.
