The bungalow is a 2 min. walk from door to toes in the surf, using a private beach just access across the street. This home is very kid friendly with tons of toys and infant/ kid items for young families. It has a wide porch and giant pool deck for calming and games

An outdoor shower is available for post-beach wash off. Pool seating, picnic table outdoor dining table are on the pool deck. The pool is cleaned twice a week by our pool company.

There's plenty of parking under the home and in the driveway. We provide bicycles for getting around the island. A car is needed to drive to eateries and stores.

Come appreciate Holden Beach's more private ambiance. This home is located on the less populated west end where there's no public parking. Holden Island is rather narrow, so you'll savor vistas of both the ocean and the inter-coastal waterway.

You will need a car to access stores and eateries.

We know packing for travel, especially with kids, can be frustrating. We strive to provide as much as we can for our guests. Unlike most beach homes, we provide most personal and household products some of which include: Shampoo, conditioner, kids shampoo, body wash, cleaning products, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, etc.

When to visit Holden Beach & When to book:

• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Wrightsville Beach attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.

Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did you have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise.
