Welcome to FAMILY TIDES!! we want to invite you to appreciate our 5 bedroom, 5 and 1/2 bath home.
It was designed with families in mind and is less than a 1 min. walk to the beach access. We’re sure you and your family will make phenomenal memories here.

This is a reverse floor plan with an elevator to all floors. The entry level has 2 queen bedrooms and a bunk room with triple bunk beds! Yes, that's correct (check out the photos) sleeps 6. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. All bedrooms have TV's.
Also, on this level is a seating area with TV and a combination pool and air hockey table. Off the sitting area is a porch/balcony overlooking the pool area.

On the main or upper level you will find a gorgeously designed great room with kitchen, dining and huge seating area. Also on this level is a queen bedroom and a king bedroom. The upper deck overlooks the pool area and has the stairway to the crow’s nest. The vistas from the crow’s nest of ocean and marsh are impressive. Sunrise from the crow’s nest is gorgeous!

Not in the beach mood? No worries! Appreciate our outdoor getaway - lounge in the sun, play in the pool and savor a cold drink at the Tiki Bar all while watching TV. POOL HEATER JUST INSTALLED! There is an additional charge of $70 per day for pool heater.

About the Area

Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider Planet Fun and Museum of Coastal Carolina. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Cost saving strategies:

• The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wrightsville Beach area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
• Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

• If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a rental that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
• If there's a certain Wrightsville Beach destination you are enamored with, search for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your group have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
