Locally owned and operated Tour Old Wilmington shows visitors a unique side of the historic port city, as they are transported back in time by a costumed guide who will breathe life into the ancient buildings and cobblestoned streets that call Wilmington home.
The walking tour begins at the corner of Market and Water Streets, and from this launching point, your guide will start sharing stories of the Victorian Era, the Civil War, and a myriad of sea tales, folklore, and local legends. Along the way, you’ll amble past the Cape Fear River, as well as three of the most historic homes in the city.
