• Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
