How to book the best rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Sunset Beach. Book your Wrightsville Beach rental home in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wrightsville Beach area visitor guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfect Wrightsville Beach rental:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Beautiful Condo on the island of Sunset beach steps from the beach. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a certain Wrightsville Beach beach you simply love, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Some things to know before you go:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, note any problem areas during check in. Call the rental manager immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
