• Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, try shifting your family's Wrightsville Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, , and reduced traffic.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
• Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.
