Are you looking for your own island escape? Do you long to feel those balmy evening sea breezes? Needs space for the whole family? If so, experience Southern Charm Beach Style! You will be interacting directly with the owner of the home!
A huge beach home rental to fit the whole family. A unique outdoor design underneath the home that integrates the sizable in-ground pool (32'x14'), Tiki bar, and under the home, covering you if any weather problems or just want shade. It is one of the biggest beachfront units on the east coast. A private estate in a gated community, it is located on a twenty-two acre wildlife preserve at the tip of the island. Here, you can converse with nature, watch deer, fox, and rabbits in their natural habitat, all the while appreciating a spectacular three hundred and sixty degree view of the beach and the Shallotte inlet. You can even see as far as Sea Isle Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway. The view nothing like you have seen before at the beach.
(Cant find your dates? I also own: Southern Grace (Listing #4038010) and Southern Bliss (Listing #7109460).
The home itself is, for lack of a better word, spectacular. It will sleep up to 50 guests in one of its 16 huge, well-appointed bedrooms. It features two upsized suites along with 5 other bedrooms equipped with king size beds. There are seven bedrooms furnished with both a combination of queen beds as well as queen and single configurations. Let the kids savor their midnight pillow fights in one of the two bunk rooms, outfitted with both double and triple bunk beds. One bedroom is also HANDICAP accessible with a handicap bathroom. The home’s 17 bathrooms guarantee that no one ever has to wait before they grab their shower. In addition, the convenient elevator gives those tired knees a rest from all that beach volleyball.
There are two giant living spaces on each floor plus a secondary living room on the first floor. You’ll find yourself spending tons of time in the pretty over-sized great room. It features windows on three sides of the home that serve to bring the outside in. There’s also a separate movie/game room featuring a huge HDTV, game table and foosball table. Speaking of TV’s, you’ll think that you are in Command Central. There are a total of 18 T.V.s throughout the home. Sizable TVs are installed in the common areas with cable service and smaller sets in each of the bedrooms with Roku. If you want to catch a late nighttime flick, choose from our collection of many fashionable titles to play on the included DVD players. If you want to surf the internet, or perhaps just catch up on a little late nighttime work, a blazing 400 Mbps of WI-FI Mesh access is available.
The upstairs movie/game room has a kitchenette (sink, microwave, drink refrigerator) and is a great hangout for the kids or to hold a breakout session with your church or club members. But when it’s time to really showcase your culinary skills preparing all that freshly caught seafood, you’re going to want to pull out all the stops and put the additional-sizable kitchen to work. The three fridges units keep everything fresh and cool while the 10-burner cooktop, 3 ovens and two microwaves let you try out your latest recipes.
You can bask in the sunshine beside the enormous private pool, which can be heated when those nights get chilly (additional fee). With the beach having an east/west orientation, you get to see the sunrise and sunset and not loose the sun at the pool in the afternoon. When you’re tired of working on that tan, you can pull your chair over to the covered area on the large pool deck. This will get you out of the sun but still allow you to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. After the sun goes down, it’s time to grab a drink at the Tiki Bar. Or challenge someone to a game of corn hole, shuffle board, basketball, ring toss, etc. This area is well designed for large group gatherings and the presence of two gas grilles make food preparation painless for any type of event.
There are two full service laundry rooms equipped with washers and dryers, to make it simple to get all that sand out of your swimsuits, and if you’re worried about having too many on your guest list, there’s parking available for up to 24 cars.
Tired of those reverse floor plans with all the walking up and down? Have the common area integrated with the outside/pool area for better outside use and flow. Kitchen and great room on the elevated first floor with deck stairs to pool.
As you sit and relax, watching the sand and surf, from one of the double level decks on each side of the home, you see why Holden Beach has been nationally recognized as one of the premier “Family Beaches in the USA.” You will also make a mental note to return and experience ‘Southern Charm’ as often as you can. Just right for your family vacation, reunion, church getaway or event. All this for less than what a nice hotel would charge on a per room, per nighttime basis! With the 8300 s.f. of space, private pool, and sea right in front of you thrown in! Whether you need a 13, 14 or 15 bedrooms or more, ‘Southern Charm’ has it all.

How to Save Money on Your Rental

  • Search for the tourism bureau in the area you wish to travel. Many official tourism bureaus will offer you printed tourism guide books with special offers for rental homes, restaurants and tours. These guides provide an excellent start to your rental home search.
  • Are you willing to modify your travel dates? Shoulder seasons provide terrific promotions.
  • Are you a armed forces veteran? A number of management companies offer discounts to veterans and active-duty forces. Be sure to check with property manager to see if your travelling group is eligible for a markdown.
  • Some homes are particularly designed for specific groups of vacationers. Event homes are best for weddings, wedding receptions and corporate retreats. Some homes cater to beach bums. Other homes are positioned close to nightlife. Make sure that you prioritize your proximity to the outdoor activities and sights you are most excited about.
  • Property management companies and individual home owners commonly offer their guests an opportunity to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the basic term price, provides travellers reimbursement of their vacation expenses for any missed due to health emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing extra hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unplanned hotel stay or extra fuel. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforseen occurs (heaven forbid!).

General Rental Home Information

You may be pleasantly surprised to discover just how many vacation homes are available at your destination. With such a wide selection, clients are certain to find a property which matches their wishes and spending plan.

The vast majority of rentals in Wrightsville Beach are privately owned and many are represented by established local property management companies. For owners not directly engaged in the management of their rental home, management companies are critical in helping travellers with reserving, check-in, cleaning, as well as maintenance problems that may arise.

Seasoned Wrightsville Beach vacationers have identified several tips and tricks throughout the years when it comes to renting vacation homes, however most newcomers will be delighted to discover that several "techniques" are in plain sight, if you recognize where to search.

Finding and reserving the right rental:

Before you book "Oceanfront Mansion (8,300 sf)*Pool*Elevator*Tiki Bar 'Southern Charm’", read through our short collection of points to consider.

Search Early and Frequently

Wrightsville Beach rental homes start booking very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is usually recommended, when possible. Holiday gatherings are a great time for families to plan their Summer vacations..

Settle on your Town and Travel Week

Consensus can be tricky among family members, but as soon as this complicated part is finished everything will begin to fall in place.

Just How Many Beds?

Determine who is attending the vacation, and just how many/what particular bedroom setup you'll need. Bear in mind that most rental homes list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in the living room space. You'll need to figure out what is acceptable for your family. Generally rental listings will summarize each of the unit's specific bedrooms and mattress sizes.

Determine Your Budget

Most vacation rentals are presented with a cost range. Confirm the price for your selected stay. It could be at the high end of the range. Make sure to get cost-sharing commitments from loved ones well before booking a pricey rental property. Typically, a single member of the group will be liable for making the whole reservation and collecting each family member's share.

Its All About Amenities

What home features is the family searching for? Do you only desire a home with a swimming pool, spa tub or beach volleyball court? Are you more enthusiastic about a natural landscape or nightlife? Are mattress sheets included with the rental agreement, or do you need to bring your own? Make a list of priority features to facilitate narrow your search.

Accessibility and Special Concerns

Do individual members of your crew have special needs? Ensure that you remember and inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and special equipment requirements..

Think About Furry Family Members?

Remember to include your best friend! Dog policies are different at each property. Study descriptions thoroughly. A number of limitations could dismiss a potential rental home. Examine your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or deposits may be applied to your contract. Ask questions *before* you book!

Searching the Internet

. In combination with Homeaway, VRBO and Tripadvisor, we advise searching Google for "Wrightsville Beach local rental homes" for local rental management companies. Local vacation rental management companies take pride in a superior vacation experience.

Negotiate

When you have found your dream rental, check to confirm your travel dates are available.

Although not true for all rental properties, many rental owners and property managers will negotiate rates. If they are hesitant to budge on a peak-season trip, try asking for an additional night. This is most effective during the off-peak season when many rentals sit empty.

Read Through The Agreement

Discover which of the following is included in your quoted rate:

  • Electric bills
  • Internet
  • Telephone service
  • Hot Tub Heating
  • Cable and pay-per-view TV
  • Cleaning services and housekeeping
  • Trash Pickup (and which day?)
  • Maintenance (get a phone number)

Book It

After you think you've found "the one", begin the reservation process. You will probably be asked to submit a security deposit at time of reservation.

Put the rental manager's contact information into your smartphone and wallet for quick access to answers throughout your stay.

Congrats! All that is left is making the most of your visit!

During your Stay

  • Take pictures at your arrival. Take notes of any wear and tear soon after you arrive. We also suggest promptly calling the rental manager with a report of any damages, along with your request for any necessary repairs. This may prevent disagreements during check out.
  • Ask questions. When there's any ambiguity about vehicle parking, policies of the property, condo access, swimming pool operations, etc... we suggest you ask the rental home manager immediately. A phone call can save hours of hassle.
  • Remember to be a good next-door neighbor. Locals are likely to be as friendly to you as you are respectful of them. Remember the golden rule and treat others the same way you'd like to be treated by vacationers next to your residence.
  • Ask a local. Locals are a great source of recommendations.
  • Enjoy your stay! Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the home secured when you are away, exactly like you would at home.

Check Out Time

  • Tidy up a lttle bit. Even though you're spending money on a house cleaning fee, The vacation home needs to be in sound condition. Sinks filled with dishes, excessive beach sand on the flooring and sticky messes should be remedied prior to leaving.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one last time and check for property damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager wherever possible (often this isn't possible).. If the property manager is not available, make sure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • How was your getaway? Just about all rental home management companies and rental search sites permit customers to offer feedback. If the vacation rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your compliments. If something went wrong, we suggest being understanding but straightforward with regards to your stay. Top property owners and managers will work very hard to fix the situation.

Use Your Experience

Does everyone want to return next year? Hopefully everything turned out to be wonderful and you are excited to reserve the same rental for next year. If not, you've acquired valuable rental search experience that will help with your next search.
