• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
• When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
