Summer Down is freshly modernized for 2022 and ready for relaxation! New owners who have freshly refreshed and professionally decorated this Bald Head Island gem!

It features new floor, modern lighting and comfortable furnishings. We have three 65 inch intelligent TVs, plus beautiful bathrooms, simple but lux coastal decor and new outdoor furnishings, including a hanging chair looking out at the lagoon.
Come savor this updated Villa in walking distance from the beach and Bald Head Island Club. We are excited to share our little piece of heaven with your family and friends! Our home consists of three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The master has a king, the guest has a queen, and the third bedroom is just ideal with two sets of bunk beds. We have a great outdoor living space which is ideal for entertaining. Our home is entirely supplied with a pack n play, crock pot, 4 beach chairs, (2) four passenger golf carts for cruising the island, an electric grille, and both a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this villa is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to a rental budget:

• The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wrightsville Beach area. Booking your Wrightsville Beach vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Booking websites often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. • Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
