White Front is a no-frills breakfast joint that’s found within a weather-worn, one-story building on the outskirts of the downtown area, and despite its humble exterior, is a popular local go-to for good breakfast food without the fuss. Featuring a heavy menu of staples, with incredibly attractive prices, White Front may not be an eye-catching destination, but it will nonetheless leave visitors with plenty of funds to enjoy a shopping spree in the neighboring shops and attractions.
The menu is basic, but classic, with a variety of sandwiches, omelets, pancakes and French toast, and all-encompassing breakfast plates. Hungry patrons can dive into two-egg platters serves with hamburger steak, country ham, corned beef hash, smoked sausage or even NY strip, while lighter appetites will be attracted to the simple biscuit or toast sandwiches with bacon, egg, and / or a sausage patty. The omelets are nicely varied but traditional, with choices like a country ham western, a bacon and cheese, and a mushroom, peppers and onions selection, while the pancakes & French toast – which are served up with the diner’s choice of meats - are always filling.
