Port City Brew Bus

Beer lovers will be thrilled to discover that there’s a local Wilmington tour designed just for them – the Port City Brew Bus. Open to visitors who are 21 and older, this tour bus heads to three of the area’s top breweries where patrons can enjoy a tour, see what’s on tap, and of course, sample a flight or two (or three) of some of the Cape Fear region’s homegrown brews.

The tour is led by an experienced craft beer expert, who works hand in hand with each of the breweries to introduce the beers to tour-goers. Patrons will learn all about the brewery process before, during and after each stop, and will enjoy plenty of hefty samples along the way. Pretzels, water and snacks are available en route to whet a beer appetite, and multiple stops are made both along the downtown area and in central Wilmington along Market Street and Oleander Drive. Private tours and special events can be scheduled as well, ensuring larger brew-loving parties can be accommodated.
