Cozy bungalow in the maritime forest (Merrytime Forest). Private community pool can only be used by Ibis Roost families and their guests (30 homes). Two NEW golf carts included for Summer 2019. Bald Head Island Club available as an option…simply arrange directly with the club (use of the pool, eateries, & exercise center are complimentary, with a modest fee for tennis courts and extraordinary golf course for cart and green fee). Full sized Weber gas grille, gorgeously decorated. Linens and towels, furnished (except beach towels). Five(5) bicycles available. Beach chairs, umbrella...too!

About the Area

Bald Head Island is home to this vacation home. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

• June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the best value, shift your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
