With the vast south-facing ocean view, picture yourself appreciating your morning coffee while observing the beautiful Caswell Beach sunrise or unwinding with an evening refreshment or late dinner to see the sunset from the roomy nautically themed covered balcony. If you take your eyes off of the ocean, you will appreciate watching the deer play in the yard below or the frequent visit from the resident hawk each day. The Space:
This home is a gorgeous, third-floor condo with three bedrooms and two baths on Caswell Beach at Oak Island. The space has newly been upgraded (2020) with granite countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms, LVP floor, new cabinets, and linens. It features a full kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and separate laundry room with a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed and beautiful en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two bunk beds each with a twin bed on top and full bed on the bottom. All bedrooms are equipped with TV's. The living room features spectacular vistas of the ocean, a TV with cable, DVD player, and Netflix. For those who may need to bring the office with you on vacation, we have a convenient folding desk and chair to utilize. High speed internet WIFI is supplied. To make your stay as anxiety-complimentary and simple as possible we have supplied most condiments you would need including coffee and tea.

We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, soaps, and shampoo/conditioner. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, body boards, kids beach toys, and a beach cart are all included for your use. For additional enjoyment we have a selection of movies, books, and games available. We are very kid friendly and have a sizable collection of toys, coloring books and crayons, and items to infant proof for those tiny ones. There is a pack and play available for infants and toddlers as well.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. About the Area

Located in Oak Island, this apartment is next to a golf course and near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Kure Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Cost saving strategies:

• Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. To find the best value, change your family's Wrightsville Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
• Find a copy of your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

• Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
• If your group is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
• If there's a certain Wrightsville Beach attraction you crave, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
• Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

Additional considerations:

• Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
• Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many difficulties.
• Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
• Make a record of any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
• Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
• Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
• Did you have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
