Welcome to our comfortable two-story home, located right on the 11th hole of the Bald Head Island club's golf course. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on our back deck or enclosed porch, watching the local wildlife and appreciating the striking vistas of the green. Step inside and you'll be greeted by a wall of windows that invite nature right into your living room. The home is elegantly designed with wood floors, an open living area punctuated with local artwork, and cozy seating. You'll adore the dining area with its expansive windows and a cavernous granite breakfast bar. Our kitchen is a prepare's dream with refreshed granite countertops and plenty of prep space. Get ready to relax in the ground floor's King Primary bedroom, complete with constructed-ins, and a chic ensuite hidden behind a barn door. Ascend to the upper level of the home for two more suites, each with its own bathroom. Choose between the roomy Twin bedroom suite and the more secluded Queen bed suite. Kids will adore the third floor, designed just for them with two twin beds and two trundle beds. And don't worry, we've got your entertainment covered with flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and Wi-Fi throughout the home. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
