You will adore everything Timbercreek 18A has to offer for your vacation to Bald Head Island. Besides the comfortable accommodations and the impressive creek vistas, you have access to one of the few private pools on the island and our Timbercreek dock. Our rental is available for 7 nighttime stays from Sunday to Sunday from early June through the last week of August. Not as many nights required during the off summer season. Feel complimentary to use our two kayaks to discover the creek. The dock also accepts for crabbing and fishing just steps from the condo. We provide two golf carts for exploring the island and for painless access to the beach of course!

There is a garage that stores one of the golf carts, beach amenities, and a full size washer and dryer. All Timbercreek buildings consist of two properties. The A unit is the top floor, the B unit is the middle floor and the garages are on the base floor. The buildings are gorgeously spaced apart so you can savor sitting on the outdoor screened in porch. We have comfortable patio seating for 6-7 guests.

You have the option to purchase a weekly membership to the Bald Head Island Club for access to their pools, tennis courts, eateries, and golf course.

Wrightsville Beach rental home tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • To get the best value, consider changing your family's Wrightsville Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Narrow your Search:

  • To start, have your family choose date ranges and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Marsh Madness at Timbercreek 18A, Beautiful Creek Views, pool and creek access has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a particular Wrightsville Beach beach you crave, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.

Additional considerations:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. text the property manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
