Located just steps from the sand, FerryTale Retreat offers a 4 bedroom escape featuring vistas of the Atlantic and the ideal vantage point for island sunsets. With two golf carts and high-speed Wi-Fi included, you'll have all the amenities of home just mins. from the beaches, clubs, shopping and dining.

FerryTale Retreat guests are eligible for to purchase guest membership at the Bald Head Island Club. This access grants you entry to top-tier conveniences including the acclaimed golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, and the private exercise center and pool. We recommend coordinating your guest membership through the club's portal immediately after booking to ensure your family enjoys the full range of superb social and recreational activities available during your stay.

This home is the ideal place for one or two families or a group of friends to savor a memorable vacation together. It has beautiful ocean vistas from the kitchen, enormous front deck and upstairs king suite -- ideal for watching the sunset, moonrise and for marvelous evening stargazing. The huge, vaulted-ceiling living room and freshly upgraded nook offer ample seating and entertainment options. Appreciate dinner out on a third private freshly refreshed back deck.

"FerryTale Retreat" has been professionally decorated in relaxing shades of sea blue and grays to help maximize relaxation and bring the impressive Bald Head Island beach inside.

The home features four bedrooms, three full baths and sleeps up to ten guests. The primary bedroom suite on the upper level has a king bed, flat screen tv, as well as an ensuite bathroom, a sitting area with a couch and desk and private deck with striking vistas.

The second primary bedroom has a queen bed, flat-screen TV, an ensuite bathroom and is tucked away in the peaceful back of the home. This room also features deck access.

Another guest room has a queen bed and deck access and the fourth bedroom offers a bunk bed as well as a daybed with trundle. Closets include hangers and there are laundry baskets for your convenience.

The gourmet kitchen is completely equipped with all of the amenities you could want and features stainless appliances. The kitchen is open to an airy dining room that seats eight and a newly refreshed breakfast nook for additional seating, dining and entertaining space.

The sunlit living room is open to the kitchen and includes a flat-screen Intelligent TV and a sizable space for calming with family and friends. The home is well-supplied with puzzles and games.

A full-sized washer and dryer are in a huge pantry off the kitchen. A high chair and pack & play are located in the pantry along with an iron, ironing board and drying rack.

Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. Starter packs of shampoo, conditioner, soap come in each bathroom. We also supply starter dish detergent, paper towel and toilet paper rolls.

Two 4-seater golf carts will transport you around the island.

We provide beach towels, all linens, pre-arrival cleaning, high-speed wireless internet service and four intelligent TV's.

The large outdoor area downstairs features tropical vegetation and opens to a finished cavernous mudroom area to hang your towels with stairs to the main floor. There is a newly modernized outdoor shower ideal for rinsing off the sand.

A propane grille with tools are at the ready for you.

"FerryTale Retreat" is located right off of South Beach Wynd and is convenient to all the island attractions. There is plenty to do on the island - casual-to-charming dining, numerous clothing/gift stores, camps, and education programs, etc. There is a full-service grocery store, ice cream shop and take-out pizza. Fishing, kayaking, surf lessons, scavenger hunts, and sightseeing charters are available.

5 stars! We appreciated the home! It was extremely well organized and decorated. You can tell the owners spent tons of time providing everything you could need. We really liked the beach paintings. We found that the location is ideal, near the beach, the golf course, market, and marina.

Ferrytale Retreat has all the details covered—and what’s more important than the details? High-end appliances, super-well-appointed kitchen, impeccable décor, a Weber grille, opulent memory foam beds, two great golf carts (but only blocks from a beach access). Great open spaces and comfortable bedrooms—just a phenomenal place to cool down and mix a margarita after a day in the sun. Highest recommendation here.
