Welcome to Crowe's Nest!

This is a premium condo unit with a spectacular South facing ocean view from the 2nd level of the Oceanwalk Community. This condo is your family's next ideal vacation spot. Sleeping up to 8 people, there is room for the whole family plus friends. There is everything you could ever need to feel right at home, the kitchen is entirely outfitted with all of the appliances and silverware needed to prepare your favorite meals. The ocean front patio has seating for you to appreciate your morning coffee as the sun rises and your evening drink as the sun sets. Located in the middle of Oak Island's many main attractions, it will only take a few mins. to get to all the best eateries and stores. So leave your car keys on the counter! There is an outdoor shower located in the building next to the unit to clean off all the sand after a long and fun day on the beach! And don't forget to savor the huge outdoor pool with plenty of chairs for calming in the sun.

5 min. walk to beach and 10 min. walk to Middleton Park for weekly concerts & Market!

*On January 10th, 2023 the Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The cost will be $5 per hour, $20 per day and $80 per week. There will be a limited (1000) number of annual passes available for purchase for $175. Violations wil be issued if these new rules are not followed.*

Wrightsville Beach vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wrightsville Beach area. To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Wrightsville Beach restaurants and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have coupons for nearby accommodations and attractions.

More considerations:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the property manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
