Located in the relaxing community of Island Park Cottages, this waterfront home places the best of Ocean Isle Beach at your fingertips. Here, on the edge of a modest community pond, you'll be a fast walk from a beach access point and Island Park's two seasonal swimming pools and fishing piers.

Come home from a day of swimming or body boarding to rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax on the ground-floor patio, where you'll find a gas grille, a picnic area, and a grassy lawn at the lagoon's edge. As you head upstairs, you'll be greeted by a cool blast of central air conditioning, a washer/dryer to take care of your swimsuits and beach towels, and an open great room with two-story ceilings. This room combines a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, a dining room table, and a living room with ample seating and a enormous intelligent TV.

Spend the evening outside on the deck, where you can dine al fresco, sip coffee in a rocking chair, or simply admire the sunset view overlooking the pond.

The two unheated community pools are open from April 1 to October 31.
No fishing or swimming is allowed in the pond.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 3 cars.

Dock details: NO BOATS. There are 2 community docks within the Island Park Community. These docks are not for boat access, only for modest water sports (paddleboard, kayaks, etc).




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this vacation home is on the waterfront. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.

When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wrightsville Beach area. Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.

• Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
• Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
