If you want a place to stay that is clean and comfortable as well as convenient... “A Wave From It All” is the place! The condo has been freshly modernized with fresh paint and new LVP floors throughout.
Our two bedroom, two bath condo is a top floor unit with an ocean view in the Ocean Walk Condos. This is not a high rise building but does offer an elevator so no need for climbing steps (unless you are looking for a workout). The Master bedroom offers a very comfortable King bed and on suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and twin/twin bunk bed with direct access to the 2nd bathroom. The living room and kitchen are a great place for the family to hang out and relax after a day on the beach. If you want a break from the sand the onsite pool is a great place to spend some time. There are two designated parking spots (1 under the building and 1 just in front of the building)
While you are on vacation, we want you to feel like you're at home. The condo has a entirely supplied kitchen with all the dishes, silverware, and drinkware as well as all the major/minor appliances (i.e.. microwave, (2) coffee pots (Keurig and Regular), toaster, and dishwasher).
As for local activities, you won’t lack for things to do. The town of Oak Island has summer concerts and events at Middleton Park which is just a short ½ mile walk from the condo, play a round of golf at Oak Island Golf Club, Charter a boat out of one of the local marinas for a day on the water fishing. Just a short drive to Southport you can savor shopping or grab a bite to eat at Provision Co (ProCo as the locals call it). Or you can catch the ferry for a fast trip over to the Aquarium at Historic Fort Fisher, then you can ride into Carolina Beach and walk the boardwalk but make sure to grab a dozen or two of some famed Britts Doughnuts. Just a 45-min. drive into Wilmington you can tour the U.S.S North Carolina battleship or walk through the Cape Fear Museum in downtown Wilmington. You can also take a ferry ride over to Bald Head Island for the day.
Looking to spend some time at an amusement park? Just about an hour drive you will find Myrtle Beach where you can go to Myrtle Waves Water Park, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Wonder Works, The Funplex, Free Fall Thrill Park, The Pavilion or Broadway at the Beach.
With the warmer temperatures in the summer season complemented by the milder temperatures in the off season; as well as all of the area attractions and friendly locals... you will find “A Wave From It All” to be a great vacation spot year round!

Our top Vacation rental booking tips:

Find your best deal:

  • To book the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines have discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your Search:

  • To start, have your group select vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. 2 Br 2 Ba Oceanview Condo in Oak Island, NC. Short 2 min walk to the beach. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what bed configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Advice for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. text the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
