From the front porch swing to the repurposed sewing machine vanity this infant blue bungalow is packed with appeal and comfort. As much as you may want to relax in the backyard all day, I highly recommend exploring the area. Within a half-mile radius you will find gorgeous historic homes, 2 county parks and many local eateries, bottle stores, and a local distillery which offers live music on the weekends. For the calming evenings in there is a grocery store less than a mile away and the kitchen has all of the cooking silverware you will need. Feel complimentary to listen to a vinyl in the collection on the record player, or you can visit Gravity Records just down the road to find your own gem. Also close by are vintage thrift stores, the Downtown Riverwalk, and Independence Mall. Of course, it would be an injustice not to mention that the beach only a 15 min. commute. This home is ideal for an entertainment packed vacation, or a calming home away from home. Cleanliness and comfort is our top priority. Fresh linens, towels, and furnishings covers will be included with every stay.

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To get the best vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.

  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
