About this Property

  • Sleeps 12
  • 5 Bedrooms
  • 4 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 4000 square feet

Not what you would expect from a typical beach property. Bald Head Island is a unique island with Live Oaks, palmettos, Spanish Moss, white sandy beaches, and a charming golf course with lagoons, palm trees, that is entirely landscaped. We have been searching for a Luxury home that blends all these aspects of the island, and finally found it. This 4000 square foot home with 5 bedrooms is located on the 8th green, with distant vistas and sounds of the ocean, all while being located on the edge of the forest. We have added a private pool and hot tub off the master suite. For security and safety reasons we have added outdoor nest cameras. We also have 1 four person golf cart and 6 person cart for your use. Once you arrive on the island after a outstanding 20 min ferry ride (don't forget to book the ferry to & from the island when you book your reservation) all the stresses of the world are gone. Only golf carts and bicycles (we have 4) are allowed on the island. We also have a third golf cart for rent for $500 per week if needed.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is next to a golf course and by the sea. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Wrightsville Beach vacation rental experience:

How to get the best value:

  • Booking in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

Planning, picking, and booking your prefectrental:

  • Choose your vacation dates and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Luxury Vintage Nautical - Grand Estate Lot has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If not, call the property manager before you book your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what is best for your vacation family.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
