• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Holden Beach. To find the best rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Wrightsville Beach attractions and restaurants. • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a fantastic vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
