We are located on the beautiful, peaceful West Beach, but only a short distance to many of the Island sweet spots!
Middleton Park (kid friendly water park and playground, Farmer’s Market, and Summer Concerts in the Park), Pepperoni Grille (great pizza!), the canal at 40th street (enjoy crabbing and fishing), the Island Way restaurant (a treat for outdoor drinks and dining) and the 9th Street Pier (great for fishing), and more! For additional adventures, head into the historic sea town of Southport for some shopping, or catch the ferry to Fort Fisher aquarium. You can also catch the ferry to Bald Head Island.

  • Summer months are high season in Oak Island. Booking in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses.
