- Close to all outdoor activities CB area has to offer: fishing, boating, cycling, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Short drive to historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium.

The Space:
All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for units.

The Neighborhood:
The bungalow is close to everything. Mix of visitors and year round residents.

-Bicycle and golf cart units are available on the island- let our Going Coastal team know if you need any recommendations.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay


There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

When to book & When to go:

• Summertime is high season in Carolina Beach. To find the best value, try shifting your family's Wrightsville Beach vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

• Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.

If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it.
