About this Property

  • Sleeps 8
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 1450 square feet

Why best vistas? Because this home sits directly on the water, and roughly 30 feet closer than surrounding homes. Result? Instead of looking at the sides of other homes, or other people sitting on decks, you have a 180 degree water view! Also because the decks and picture windows face west, providing handsome sunset vistas every evening.
Why best location? Because of all the above about the view, plus this home has the best of both worlds--the peaceful and beauty of the sound, and the beach is a block away.
The vistas can be appreciated from the deck or from inside the home in the living room or dining room--that end of the home has big windows that frame the 180 view for you. Watch the seabirds, pelicans, and dolphins go by. We have even seen sea turtles and otters from the docks.
Speaking of docks---they are great for swimming from, just appreciating the gentle rock of the water, or tying up your own boat (you can rent boats, too). (If you want to tie up a boat, arrangements must be made in advance, and there is a modest additional charge). Speaking of the docks, we keep our two boats there, and we may be there on the docks and on our boats, but if we are we will be super respectful of your privacy and use of the place.
The home has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom sports a king size bed, its own T.V., and a newly refreshed master bath with ceramic tile walk in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom bunk beds with a double on bottom and twin on top. Two baths: master bath and hall bath.
Ideal for 6 or fewer people. min. occupancy is 8, with bed space for 7, and the 8th person sleeping on the couch or an inflatable you bring. Please note that though we work hard to make everything nice for you, and we think our beach home is impressive, this is an older home.
Come experience our little piece of heaven!

NEW for 2020: new living room carpet, kitchen stove replaced, washer and dryer replaced, new outdoor bar and stools on waterfront deck.
NEW for 2019: hall bath modernized, many tweaks and improvements (new pots and pans, ceilings redone, etc.)
NEW for 2018: brand new Braun 18 SEER HVAC system, new roof, freshly painted hallway, many other tweaks to keep things nice and comfortable for you.

Tricks and tips for getting the best rental home experience:

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • Summer time is high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To find the best rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wrightsville Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wrightsville Beach area visitors guide magazines which include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose and book the best Wrightsville Beach rental home:

  • Begin by choosing the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Best views! Sound side home on water with boat docks, plus one block to beach! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wrightsville Beach rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is right for your group.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or might be applied to your invoice.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all of your things. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
