Great family beach home with gorgeous ocean view! “Jackson's Corner" has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, outside shower, striking deck with unobstructed ocean vistas! Beach access is yards away. This beach hideaway will comfortably sleep 8. Spend time calming on one of the 2 front deck swings appreciating the vistas and sounds of the ocean! Conveniences include dishwasher, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, charcoal grille, central heat/air, outside shower, 2 ocean facing decks, and much more! Walk to many Oak Island amenities including Food Lion, Dairy Queen, and numerous eateries!

**You are responsible for bringing your own towels and linens for 3 Queen, 1 Double to comfortably sleep 8 people.

**Family Animals allowed - please note dogs will not be able to go to the 2nd floor unless they are modest enough to be carried due to the spiral staircase. No family pets on the furnishings!!

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Oak Island. To book the best rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Wrightsville Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
