Cheeky Tiki is a destination within your ideal beach vacation. This beautiful beach bungalow offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a wrap around porch, and a fenced backyard with a bespoke tiki bar for post-beach leisure and entertaining. Our home is a great hideaway for family, friends, and your dog(s).



Located in the heart of OKI, freshly named North Carolina’s best-kept secret by Travel + Leisure, it is a 10-min. walk to the beach and a mins. drive to eateries, bars and grocery stores.



The Space:

The Cheeky Tiki is located on 9th street, with beach access directly over the spectacular intercoastal walkway.



Our Bungalow features 4 queen beds and 1 king bed across 3 rooms, including bespoke constructed-in bunk beds the kids (and adults) will be sure to appreciate. Our open concept living room, dining, and kitchen accepts for seamless entertaining and family time. Our kitchen is completely outfitted with cookware, dishware and serving platters to make meals in simple and convenient.



Appreciate coffee on our wraparound front porch, equipped with a gate for ease of mind with dogs and young kids. A entirely covered screened porch towards the back of the home leads you out to your fully fenced backyard.



The backyard features covered outdoor seating with a fire pit, a grille area, outdoor games including corn hole and a bespoke horse shoe pit, and a bespoke tiki bar––with a suspended TV, pool table, and exercise equipment.



Kayaks, beach towels, and beach chairs are also available.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home minus an owner’s closet.



The Neighborhood:

Stunning, peaceful neighborhood in the beautiful "Tranquil Harbor" section of Oak Island. This is a ideal neighborhood for a leisurely walk or a bicycle ride. The home is located within a 1 min. walk to the Intercoastal Waterway (ICW), a ten min. walk to the beach (3 min. drive!), and a five min. drive to grocery stores, gift stores, clothing stores, eateries, ice cream stores and more. Just across Oak Island Drive is the 9th Street Crossover, which offers a walking bridge across the canal and to the beach.



Getting Around:

Getting around on Oak Island is painless. In addition to traditional cars, we find that our guests appreciate walking, cycling, or even renting an E-Bicycle or golf cart. (please keep in mind that golf cart drivers and passengers must follow the same rules of the road as cars, and are not allowed on streets with a speed limit greater than 35 mph).



Whatever your mode of transportation, you'll find you are greeted everywhere you go by a smile or a friendly wave.

Be sure to stay up-to-date on the weather for your stay. We require all guests to leave our bungalow if the county declares an evacuation, such as for a hurricane. Also, please be aware of rip current conditions before swimming in the ocean. Our bungalow is located in a tropical environment.
