Parking pass is required to park in the Driftwood parking area, predatory towing is in effect in the busy season, 1 pass is supplied & public parking is on the street.
PLEASE download the Airbnb app on your phone BEFORE you leave for your trip so you have fast access to ALL check-in instructions, access codes, WiFi info, your home manual & guidebook. All pertinent information is emailed to you the day before check-in by AirBnB to the address you supplied. Check your spam/trash folder. Get the most from your spending budget:

  • Summer time is high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To find the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wrightsville Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
