Welcome to “Morning Dew” located in Carolina Beach on Pleasure Island - the ideal family-friendly or grown-up hideaway! This roomy (1,271 Sq Feet) 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bath condo features the feel of a lake home yet located just steps to the beach. The cavernous and private deck is the ideal place to savor morning coffee or evening beverages while watching the boats, ocean life and handsome sunsets over the canal. The water-front location provides marvelous vistas and access to the boat dock for fishing. A short one block walk will put your feet in the sand of the striking North End beach.
Comfort and beach vibes abound in this rental gem. Simple-breezy check-in with keyless entry (no keys to worry about losing at the beach) and access up 1 flight of stairs (also an elevator if needed). Unit is completely refreshed, and well-appointed. Some features include complimentary secure Wi-Fi, 3 intelligent TVs, full-size washer/dryer, entirely outfitted kitchen with oven, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, Keurig machine, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. The unit sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 master bedrooms. The 1st bedroom has King bed, and a full bathroom with a double sink vanity. The 2nd bedroom has 1 Queen Bed, a twin bed with a pull-out twin trundle, and a full bathroom with a double sink vanity. The 2nd bedroom also has bean bag chairs for a "kid/teen sitting area". The unit also features a half bath, spacious kitchen, dining room, living room and private deck.
Public beach access is 1 ½ blocks away. It is recommended that you bring beach chairs and toys, or there is a rental company that can deliver chairsumbrellassurfboardsetc. with drop off right at the beach access so you don't have to haul anything.
Not feeling like going to the beach? Head south down Canal Street to the charter fishing boats as well as other boats offering eco-tour, sunset or moonlight cruises. There are also many daytrip options including shoppingdining in downtown Wilmington or taking your car on the ferry to Southport. The Fort Fisher Aquarium or touring the USS North Carolina battleship are other trendy activities.
Hungry after a day of activities? Walk a few blocks over to the High Tide Parlor and Tiki bar for some drinks or food from the grille with great ocean vistas. One mile South puts you in the main entertainment strip with many fashionable eateries, bars and stores on the boardwalk and surrounding area. We are happy to provide you our recommendation to satisfy any craving.
Looking for nightlife? There are many options, also on and around the boardwalk. Savor live music at the Lazy Pirate or Sea Witch Cafe, have an ice-cold beer at the Fat Pelican (the BEST dive bar around with a sand beach beer garden), or discover the many other bars and restaurant options.
Note: Parking is limited in this part of the island and there is only one dedicated parking space for the unit. Also, this area is prone to flooding when there are heavy rain events or king tides. This may result in temporary closures of Canal Drive to car traffic. Please look at the King Tide calendar in our photos - this generally occurs 3-4 times per year.
Although there is a dock, it may not be used for motorized boats. Our guests can fish or launch kayaks or stand-up Paddle boards from it.
We want you to have a magnificant vacation, create lasting memories and be our guest for years to come. We are just a phone call or text away should you have any issues or questions.

Strategies to get the optimal Wrightsville Beach vacation home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain discounts for local accommodations and attractions.

Planning, selecting, and booking yourrental home:

  • Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. 2 BR\/2.5 BA beautiful, spacious waterfront Carolina Beach condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve your home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or applied to your invoice.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the property manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
